Backlinks along with onsite SEO go together like a locking mechanism and a important. Without backlinks your current websites and specific pages may not be found by the search engines or will not be deemed essential enough to rate high enough for anybody to find these people. The fact in the matter is, if you want to gain a high position in the search engines you're going to need to get good quality backlinks.
